This document is intended to provide the standard procedure of enabling MESSOA IP camera motion detection with ExacqVision.

A. Non Maven series camera
Step 1: Upgrade the firmware to Version FW60_20 or above
Setup→System→Firmware Please access the camera’s web-based interface via IE (MESSOA Default IP: 192.168.1.30) and go to Firmware page to make sure you are using the proper version. Step 2: Setup motion detection on camera web-based interface.
Setup→Event→Motion Detection Go to the Motion Detection page. Click on the target squares displayed on the screen to define detection areas. The selected area will be masked in pink. And click Save Motion Area to save the settings. B. Maven Series and LPR606
Setup motion detection on Camera web-based interface. Step 1: Maven: Configuration→Event Settings→Motion Detection
Go to the Motion Detection page. Define an intended motion detection area by clicking & dragging the left mouse button. The selected area will become blue. Click Save to save the settings. Step 2: LPR606: Setup→Event→Motion Detection
Go to the Motion Detection page. Define an intended motion detection area by clicking & dragging the left mouse button. The selected area will become blue. Click Apply to save the settings. C. BOX/BLT/MBL/DOM/MDM/FHE/LPR Model
Setup motion detection on Camera web-based interface. Step 1: Configuration→Event Souce→Motion
Go to the Motion Detection page. Define an intended motion detection area by clicking & dragging the left mouse button. The selected area will become blue. Click Save to save the settings. D. Add Camera to ExacqVision
Configuration →Add IP Camera Select ONVIF as Device Type, and enter the username and the password of the desired camera. Enter the actual Camera IP address to Hostname/IP address and Click Apply.

While camera shows green border around video if no motion detected and blue one if motion detected, it means the Motion Detection is successfully set.
